Application
Ascorbic Acid Glucoside (AA2G) is a stable derivative of Vitamin C, mainly applied in cosmetics and skincare products, with a small amount used in functional foods.
1. Cosmetics & Skincare (Main Application): It inhibits tyrosinase to reduce melanin production, brighten skin tone, fade dark spots, acne marks and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. It also scavenges free radicals, resists photoaging, promotes collagen synthesis, improves skin elasticity, refines pores and controls oil, suitable for all skin types including sensitive skin. It is widely added to whitening serums, creams, masks, sunscreens and men's oil-control products.
2. Other Applications: As a stable Vitamin C, it is used in functional drinks, tablets, solid beverages and oral beauty products (such as whitening pills, collagen drinks), with better stability than ordinary Vitamin C.
