Isopropyl Myristate (IPM, CAS No. 110-27-0) is a widely used saturated fatty acid ester synthesized via the esterification of myristic acid and isopropyl alcohol. At room temperature, it appears as a colorless to slightly yellowish transparent oily liquid with almost no odor. It has a density of approximately 0.85–0.86 g/cm³.
